Airey has been teaching at Capo for 15 years. He coaches cross-country and basketball. His favorite movie of all-time is The Shawshank Redemption and he gets much of his ideas about leadership from the life and teaching of Martin Luther King. He and his wife of 6 years live in Irvine. They are passionate about working creatively & strategically to eradicate structural injustice, especially immigrant abuse, factory farming, income inequality and violence of every sort. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing and running long distances.
